Lim Guan Eng Sudah Lah Penakut , Bagi Banyak Alasan Pulak Kepada Wee Ka Siong

Semakin hari semakin kalut Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang merangkap Setia Usaha Agung DAP.

Orang putih kata "you can run but you cannot hide" mungkin sesuai untuk hal ini.

PRESS STATEMENT BY MCA DEPUTY PRESIDENT DATUK SERI DR WEE KA SIONG
4th April 2018
1. Guan Eng continues to add to his list of excuses for not wanting to debate me. Even his own DAP supporters are getting tired of these unceasing list of illogical excuses that only serves to shame his own party.
2. This latest excuse, which would be excuse number 8, is that even the United States Presidential election also does no have the presidential candidate debating with the vice-president candidate.
(See table below)
3. Although I am not sure how the US presidential elections can suddenly become an excuse, I must remind Guan Eng that this debate is about a RM20.5 billion project scandal that your state EXCO had approved and is a project that you have defended for many years in your own state in which you are the state assemblyperson, the Member of Parliament and serve as Chief Minister.
4. Guan Eng continues to insist that he is number one in his DAP and refuses to debate me who is number two in MCA - claiming that "he must respect basic political etiquette and democratic decorum".
5. In that case, since you are number one then your father Kit Siang is at best number two or lower in DAP. As Kit Siang had taken a keen interest in the Penang Tunnel scandal recently when defending Guan Eng and even called me a variety of colourful names, then I should be qualified to debate Kit Siang.
6. However, this would effectively contradict Guan Eng’s statement that I should only debate him by contesting in Bagan seat as I am a so-called ‘outsider’. If Guan Eng would have his own father, a person who holding no positions in the state government and no elected positions in the state, to represent the Chief Minister of Penang to debate me, it is as if there is no difference whether Kit Siang is a family member or in the state government.
7. Guan Eng would be in effect pulling in outside help. In this instance, that outside help because Kit Siang is the father of the Penang Chief Minister. Yet, he does not want ‘outsiders’ to debate him on the Tunnel issue plaguing him.
8. Guan Eng had also insisted that I name which state government leader had allegedly received millions of ringgit.
9. Let me remind Guan Eng that naming and charging the corrupted official or officials is the job of the MACC and the Attorney-General's office. That is not my job.
10. However, I can name a top Penang state official who is allegedly close to a person recently arrested who had received RM19mil in payments in a failed attempt to stop investigations by MACC into the Penang tunnel project. This state official is close to that person and have been photographed visiting his house and also photographed in a car at the same time when that person started receiving the RM19mil in payments.
11. We shall leave the naming of the corrupted state officials to the MACC but my concern is the incredibly lop-sided concession agreement and lack of accountability and transparency in such a large project that involves tens of billions in public funds. For this, you owe the people of Malaysia an answer that can only be found via an open debate on this tunnel scandal.
